On June 30th, 2001, NJ OWL members enjoyed a Butterfly and Moth Walk at Klots' Bog with biologist Tony McBride. Tony heads New Jersey's Wild Turkey Project for the Division of Fish and Wildlife, and is an avid butterfly and moth collector. He is also an accomplished butterfly breeder and gardener.

Klots' Bog is an abandoned cranberry bog which was a major study locale for Alexander B. Klots, who authored the first edition of Peterson's Field Guide to Eastern Butterflies.
