Join the New Jersey Outdoor Women's League

PLEASE NOTE: As has been mentioned in the minutes for several months, NJ OWL will be severely cutting back on programs for the remainder of 2007 and during 2008 as we re-organize and plan for the organization’s future. We will continue to have meetings and hope to have a basic schedule of field activities, greatly reduced compared other years, by sometime in November.

Please be advised, if you encourage people to join NJ OWL, or are considering joining yourself, do so with this situation in mind.

NJ OWL, Inc is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization that supports the the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife by providing learning opportunities, geared towards women, about fishing, hunting, bird-watching and other wildlife-related activities and by teaching the outdoor skills needed to participate in these activities.

NJ OWL provides scholarships to BOW workshops, promotes the BOW program, and offers additional learning opportunities related to fishing, hunting, birding and other wildlife-related activities to help make the outdoors and its wildlife an integral part of people’s lives. NJ OWL offers educational field events, bimonthly lectures, a bimonthly newsletter and other activities.

Membership is just $25 per CALENDAR year and is open to anyone who is at least 18 years of age. Print and complete the application and mail it with a check made out to:
