NJ OWL field events are only open to members. This does not include children or guests - sorry! Meetings are open to everyone! As has been mentioned in the minutes for several months, NJ OWL will be severely cutting back on programs during 2008 as we re-organize and plan for the organizations future. We will continue to have meetings and hope to have a basic schedule of field activities, though greatly reduced compared other years.
Please be advised, if you encourage people to join NJ OWL, or are considering joining yourself, do so with this situation in mind.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Signing up for NJ OWL educational field events
(denoted by "(+)" in front of the listing) requires
that members pay a $15 registration fee made out to NJ OWL which will
be returned to the member after attending the event. Fees from members
who sign-up for an event and ultimately are unable to attend will be
deposited into NJ OWL's account. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS, INCLUDING
ILLNESS, DEATH IN THE FAMILY, CAR BREAKDOWNS OR ANY OTHER REASON.
